Ed Perry, Business Development
Executive
Ed Perry has spent the last 32 years traveling throughout the country selling systems
to credit unions.
Ed started out in the credit union industry in 1980 with a company that had just installed
its first in-house system in Houston Texas. He went on to sell for that company in the
Midwest for the next five years and then transferred to San Diego, to manage the development
of the rewrite of that product. After spending the next five years with that product, he
moved over to another core processor that had just started to be noticed on the national
scene and sold for that company for the next 20 years. Ed initially started selling in the
southern half of the country and later concentrated on the Midwest.
After retiring from the sales business mid-2011, Ed decided that it would be fun to get back
into the business again and came over to Corelation, where he now sells in the southern half
of the U.S. From his first sale to that credit union more than 30 years ago in Houston, which
is still running the software it bought in 1981, to the credit union in San Antonio that
bought from him in 2011, Ed has always told a credit union that if you buy a John Landis
developed solution, you will never have to buy again, and that has held true for the past 30
years.
“I am excited to be a part of this team, which is going to set the new standard of excellence
in the years to come,” he says.
